Did you know that humans did NOT evolve to be monogamous?
Did you know anthropologically speaking, we evolved to NOT be monogamous. Everything about our bodies, including the relatively large size of male genitalia and multiple sexual dimorphisms (like that men are taller and larger than women), is consistent with other primates that engage in non-monogamous relationships (our species is meant to basically constantly have sex with multiple partners). The only biological indicator we have that is consistent with monogamous primates is that human males and human females have same sized canines.
Why is this in politics? I don’t know, but it’s a fun fact. Maybe it will get some of you to think more critically.
Monogamy is a social construction, which considering the times (so many STDs) is probably the more reasonable thing to do.
